So I woke up this morning craving Yam and you should know that 100 grams of raw yam contains about 118 calories. The calorie content when cooked? I do not know *smug face*
I boiled my Yam, made a very yummy oil-less stir fry vegetable and boiled egg. Now the interesting part is I did not boil my egg the conventional way.
First I got a nylon (moin moin) of which, I hear this is not the best because of molecular particles ( This may not be the healthiest option) I put a drop of Olive oil (you can use any one you have) and a pinch of salt.
Then I cracked my egg into the nylon, tied it up and put it in a kettle to boil for 10 mins ( because I do not like runny or soft boiled eggs).
With that done, I paid detailed attention to my plaiting because a woman I love dearly will always tell me "Presentation Darling..."
I also pan baked my fresh fish I got from a long trip to an yet to be named beach somewhere around Epe.
For the pan baked fish, I added pepper, ginger and garlic.
So here is what my Yummy Sunday Yam Medley looks like beautified with Parsley.
Not only does it look yummy, it actually tasted yummy too.
